John Bullock, CPL - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

John Bullock, an experienced landman, has widespread knowledge in the industry with over 10 years of experience in abstracting, leasing, curative, due diligence and more.  As Operations Manager, John controls the everyday ins and outs the industry can generate by managing personnel, project workload, and productivity.  John has been a member of the MAO team since 2008 and in that time has worked in Louisiana, Colorado, Arkansas, New Mexico, Utah, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Texas, Mississippi and surrounding areas.  John is a Certified Professional Landman as well as a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), the Denver Association of Professional Landmen (DAPL), the Permian Basin Petroleum Association (PBPA) and the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association (NALA).


roger goudeau, rl - abstract department manager

Roger Goudeau has over 23 years of experience and extensive knowledge in leasing title and abstracting in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. Mr. Goudeau has managed abstract teams in the Fayetteville Shale and Haynesville Shale and Southern Arkansas. He works closely with the abstract Team Leaders and oversees the quality control of the abstracts within the Abstract Department. Roger maintains Client Status data bases/reports and teaches basic abstracting and tract plotting courses to trainees. Roger Goudeau has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in 1991 in, and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen.


brian e. kraus, cpl - project manager

Brian has over 12 years of experience in title, acquisitions and curative throughout the Appalachian Basin. He has been a member of the MAO team since 2016 and currently serves as the Appalachia Manager, overseeing staffing and general operations for projects throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. Prior to joining MAO, Brian spent several years as a Project Manager overseeing drilling and exploration projects in Ohio and West Virginia for various natural gas operators. In addition to project oversight, Brian has extensive experience running full patent title, negotiating leases and mineral purchases as well as securing documents to fulfill curative requirements. He also worked as an intern/Paralegal for a law firm representing landowners in oil and gas negotiations. Brian is a Certified Professional Landman with the American Association of Professional Landmen, a board member of the Baton Rouge Association of Petroleum Landmen (BRAPL) and a member of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL (MLBC). Brian received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and an American Bar Association-Accredited Paralegal Certification from Gannon University in 2011.


Zachary s. buck, cpl - leasing department manager

Zach has 15 years of oil and gas service experience, focusing primarily on lease acquisition. Zach is a dynamic landman. A skilled negotiator, who is as efficient as he is rigorous.  In his role as Leasing Department Manager, Zach has successfully purchased leases, managed leasing projects, and managed leasing personnel. Throughout his career, Zach has been devoted to customer service and has always maintained a professional and ethical reputation in the land service industry. Zach has been with MAO since 2009. Zach is a Certified Professional Landman with the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), a member of the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen (LAPL). Zach received a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from Louisiana State University in 2006.
